| "The (PRVR) valve is designed to make the fuel pressure higher when the car is overheating to prevent vapor lock. The problem is that if the valve fails or does not get a signal from a bad connection ect.... It can cause the fuel pressure NOT to rise with boost causing the mixture to be extremely lean." "We always bypass the valve and run direct vacuum/boost to the fuel pressure regulator. This way the fuel pressure regulator always gets the correct reading and the fuel pressure adjusts without a electrical signal. Just make sure you have the vacuum going direct to the fuel pressure regulator when bypassing the PRVR."
